Wendy provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care for a wide range of mental health challenges: PTSD, mood disorders including bipolar and depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dissociative disorders, bereavement, alcohol abuse, identity struggles, and relational distress.

She is a trained EMDR therapist with a particular passion for caring for survivors and witnesses of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, and has been trained in trauma response care as an advocate through the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence. She is honored to provide therapeutic support for U.S. military members returning home, as well as their families.

Wendy’s path to therapy ran through the classroom and the page: before graduate work she served as a high school advisor and certified Advanced Placement English teacher, then as an editor and ghostwriter, collaborating on more than 28 published manuscripts. She has worked as a victim advocate coordinating with law enforcement, in group psychiatric practice coordinating with medical care, and as a consultant to veteran caregiver organizations. She also teaches college General Psychology and Human Growth and Development.

A lifelong resident of Alachua County, Wendy spends her free time kayaking the springs and rivers of Florida with her husband of 25 years and their adult children.
