Couples therapy for finding your way back to each other

Every couple gets stuck. The same fight on repeat, the silence that settles in, the distance that neither of you chose. Therapy is a place to interrupt the pattern, with someone trained to see it, on neutral ground.

What we help couples with

  • Communication that has turned into conflict, or gone quiet altogether
  • Rebuilding trust after betrayal or broken agreements
  • Big transitions: marriage, parenthood, relocation, retirement
  • Intimacy, disconnection, and feeling like roommates
  • Blended-family and in-law strain
  • Deciding, honestly and carefully, what the future of the relationship is

How we approach it

Our clinicians are trained in marriage and family therapy, working from a person-centered, systems-aware perspective: the relationship is the client, and both voices in it matter. Sessions are structured, practical, and even-handed. You will not find a referee here, and you will not find someone taking sides.

Where trauma is part of the story, and it often is, our team’s depth in trauma care and EMDR means it can be addressed properly rather than worked around.

Questions couples ask us

Do we both need to attend every session?

Most sessions are together, but your therapist may occasionally recommend individual sessions as part of the work. The plan is built with both of you.

What if my partner is hesitant about therapy?

That is common, and it is exactly what the free 15-minute consultation is for. A short, no-commitment call is an easier first step than a full session, and many hesitant partners find the fit conversation reassuring.

How much does couples therapy cost?

Initial evaluations are $200 for 90 minutes and follow-ups are $145 for one hour. Supervised intern couples sessions are $150 for 90 minutes. We are in-network with Aetna and provide superbills for other insurers. Full rates here.

The pattern will not interrupt itself.
