Insurance
We are in-network for Aetna medical insurance, for in-person care in Florida and Aetna plans covering telehealth.
For most other insurance providers we are out-of-network: you pay at the time of service and we prepare a superbill you can submit for partial reimbursement under your plan’s terms.
We are not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before you begin care if you are uninsured or not using insurance. Just ask; we provide one for every service we offer, including evaluations.
Paying out of pocket, answered plainly
You don’t take my insurance. How do I proceed?
Payment is made at the time of service. After your session we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What exactly is a superbill?
A detailed receipt that includes the diagnosis and procedure codes insurers require. Unlike a standard bill, it is designed for your insurer to reimburse you directly, according to your out-of-network benefits.
How do I submit one?
After paying for your visit, submit the superbill as an out-of-network claim with your insurance company. They evaluate it against your plan and reimburse all, some, or none of the cost. If parts are rejected, you can usually address them and resubmit.
Unsure what your plan covers?
Call us. We will help you figure out your benefits before you spend a dollar, and give you a written estimate if you are paying out of pocket.
